Our Travel Buddy Program removes most of the hassles by coordinating: Transportation to and from the airport or cruise port Check-in, baggage, and security. Assistance with carry-on luggage, wheelchairs or carts, boarding, restroom trips, and more. Companion Care by Your Travel Buddy Similar to the care you may already receive at home, your Travel Buddy can add to your enjoyment and ease anxiety over your trip by providing the following services: Accompaniment to meals or bring you to your table and dine separately. Take you on excursions, to shows, games and other social events Organize your hotel room or cruise cabin upon arrival for maximum comfort. Help you prepare for a night out by ironing clothes and providing basic grooming and cosmetic assistance. Personal Care Performed by Your Travel Buddy Our caregivers can assist you with personal care. Either a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) can accompany you on your trip and help you with: Bathing, grooming, and dressing. Monitoring your temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, and intake and output of fluids. Ambulation devices, such as a wheelchair or walker. Change of colostomy or catheter bag Skilled Nursing Care by Your Travel Buddy If your health condition requires in-depth medical assistance, our team of Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) love to help. Some services of our Skilled Nursing Care Travel Buddy Program include: Wound care, including dressing changes. Tube feedings and/or high-tech intravenous therapy.
